I am a writer and oil painter. I am married to an olive farmer. We have four fabulous grandchildren. Life is good. I split my time between Cambria, California, Goodyear, Arizona and the San Francisco Bay Area.
My last place of employment was at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2014 where I co-instructed a class called Critical Analytical Thinking. The much-needed course fostered not only critical thinking but also writing. Alas, the MBA students indicated to the faculty that they did not “come to Stanford” to hone their writing skills; rather, they came to make connections and create apps.
I like to cook, read, walk with my Labrador, knit, oil paint, write, tell stories to whomever will listen, stretch, and daydream.
I am in my 60’s but strangely still feel like I am young.
